Tamer Theodossy

Tamer Theodossy is a Consultant Oral Surgeon with more than 20 years of experience in the field of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
He graduated from the University of Jordan with honours in 1997 and later obtained a Master’s Degree in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery with distinction from the Eastman Dental Institute. He also gained Membership from the Royal College of Surgeons of England and Fellowship from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
His specialist training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery was completed at University College London Hospital and Great Ormond Street Hospital. Since 2006, he has held several Consultant posts in the United Kingdom and currently works as a Consultant Oral Surgeon in private hospitals in London.
Tamer is recognised by the General Dental Council in the United Kingdom as a Specialist in Oral Surgery and by the Jordanian Dental Association as a Specialist in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
His clinical interests include Oral Surgery, dental implants, bone grafting, orthognathic surgery, minimally invasive TMJ surgery and facial trauma.
He is a Fellow of the British Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, an elected Council Member of the British Association of Oral Surgeons and an examiner for the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
He has published in national and international journals, reviews for several Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery journals and is actively involved in clinical teaching, hands-on surgical training and mentorship for dentists with a special interest in Oral Surgery.
As Officer of EFOS, Tamer Theodossy contributes to the federation’s European collaboration, scientific activity and promotion of high standards in Oral Surgery.
