

EBOS
The European Board in Oral Surgery (EBOS) examination is organised by the
EFOS and is designed both as a quality label and as an aid to harmonising
standards of training and practice in European countries.
Passing the EBOS examination does not confer the right to claim the title of
Specialist in Oral Surgery, nor to practice Oral Surgery in any country. This right is solely granted by the national authority of each country.
The EBOS Assessment, which confers the title of "Fellow of the EBOS", is a
recognition of the clinical value of the candidate and of his/her ability to
practice oral surgery safely and independently.
The examination board will convene at least every 2 years.
The scope of the assessment is defined by the EBOS syllabus of Oral Surgery.
