Fernando Duarte Elected President of EFOS

Prof. Dr. Fernando Duarte has been elected President of the European Federation of Oral Surgery — EFOS — for the 2025–2028 term.

The new Executive Committee brings together representatives from different European countries, reflecting the federation’s commitment to collaboration, education and the advancement of Oral Surgery.

This appointment reinforces the role of EFOS as a European scientific organisation dedicated to the development, recognition and promotion of Oral Surgery.

Under this new executive term, EFOS will continue to encourage scientific cooperation between national societies, support professional education and contribute to the harmonisation of Oral Surgery standards across Europe.
