Luigi Laino

Prof. Luigi Laino is an Italian oral surgery professional with extensive academic, clinical and scientific experience in Oral Surgery, Oral Pathology and Implantology.
He graduated in Dentistry and Dental Prosthesis with highest honours and completed a PhD in Biomedical Technologies Applied to Odontostomatological Sciences. He also specialised in Oral Surgery at the University of Naples Federico II.
Prof. Laino is Professor of Oral Surgery and Implantology at the University of Campania “Luigi Vanvitelli” and Medical Director at the Dental Clinic of the “Luigi Vanvitelli” Hospital.
He is President of the Italian Society of Oral Surgery — SIdCO — and an active member of several scientific societies connected to Oral Surgery, Implantology, Osseointegration and Oral Medicine.
His clinical and research activity focuses on Oral Surgery, Oral Pathology, Implantology, bone regeneration, biomaterials and tissue engineering. He has contributed to extensive scientific production in indexed international publications.
As Officer of EFOS, Prof. Laino contributes to European collaboration, scientific exchange and the promotion of high standards in Oral Surgery across Europe.
