Jean-Hugues Catherine

Dr. Jean-Hugues Catherine is a French oral surgeon with extensive clinical, academic and hospital experience in Oral Surgery and Oral Medicine. He currently serves as Treasurer of the European Federation of Oral Surgery — EFOS.
He is affiliated with Aix-Marseille University and the Faculty of Dentistry in Marseille, where he is involved in university teaching and training in Oral Surgery, Oral Medicine, Radiology and operative asepsis.
Dr. Catherine is also a hospital practitioner at AP-HM Hôpital de la Timone in Marseille, working within the Oral Surgery Department. His clinical activity includes oral surgical procedures, pre-implant and implant surgery, and the management of oral pathologies.
He has been involved in specialist training as Regional Coordinator of the DES in Oral Surgery and contributes to the education of future oral surgery professionals in France.
His scientific work includes publications in the fields of Oral Surgery, Oral Medicine and oral healthcare. Through his academic, hospital and institutional activity, Dr. Catherine contributes to the development, education and promotion of Oral Surgery in France and across Europe.
