Agurne Uribarri

Dr. Agurne Uribarri is a Spanish oral surgery professional with academic, scientific and institutional experience in the field of Oral Surgery.
She is Associate Professor at the University of the Basque Country, in the Department of Stomatology, and has developed scientific activity in areas including Oral Surgery, Implantology, bone regeneration and oral pathology.
Dr. Uribarri is President of the Spanish Society of Oral Surgery — SECIB. She has been a member of SECIB since 1995 and has served in different roles within the society, including as board member, vice-president and member of scientific and organising committees.
Her work within SECIB has focused on continuing education, scientific development and the promotion of Oral Surgery among professionals, with particular attention to training, clinical practice and evidence-based knowledge.
As Officer of EFOS, Dr. Uribarri contributes to European collaboration, scientific exchange and the promotion of high standards in Oral Surgery across Europe.
